The 2025 IBJJF World Championships are in the books – what a week it was for Team Atos. From Day 1 through the final podium celebrations, we saw courage, heart, and world-class execution from our athletes. And once again, the Dream Team showed why they’re the future of women’s Jiu-Jitsu. Here are the highlights. Dream Team: Building a Legacy India Risby, Emily Leyva, and Bia Alves all struck gold on Day 1. Emily’s performance was so strong she was promoted to brown belt right on the podium – a moment none of us will forget. Bia also earned her promotion after dominating the Blue Belt Medium-Heavy division. These young women are setting the tone for the next generation. Brown Belt Domination Day 2 was pure fire. In the Blue Belt divisions, both Dania Silva and Eduardo “Dudu” Cancela became Blue Belt World Champions. Then came the Brown Belts. Vinicius Inacio, Leticia Teixeira, Adrian Roberto, Sarah Galvao, and Maria Raniele Alencar all secured their positions at the top of the podium. To top it off, we promoted these five World Champions to Black Belts. Saturday and Sunday On Saturday, Rogério Drews took gold in the Purple Belt Heavyweight division, and Adrian Roberto became Brown Belt Ultra-Heavyweight World Champion Eight Atos Black Belts qualified for the finals on Sunday – a huge accomplishment in itself. On Sunday, João “Bisnaga” Mendes sealed the weekend with a Black Belt World Title in the Featherweight division. That moment captured everything we strive for: preparation, perseverance, and presence under pressure. Atos: Grand Slam Academy of the Year PLUS #1 Female Team During the event, Atos Jiu-Jitsu was awarded the #1 Grand Slam Academy for the 2024/2025 season by the IBJJF. Not only that, we also were crowned the #1 female team in the world 🌎 The Dream Team is real 🏆 Faith. Unity. Hard work. That’s the shield and sword we carry. Innovating Jiu-Jitsu. Transforming Lives. From white belts to world champions, every student, coach, and supporter is part of this movement. Want to Train Like a Champion? Just watching the moment back fills me with such joy, pride, energy...
We’re deep in the grind for IBJJF Worlds 2025. Trust me, it’s the hardest part of the year. As always, our team is pushing hard now so we can leave it all on the mats on comp day. What’s funny… Most of our athletes find the training camps before big comps harder than the competition itself 😅 That’s the point. If you survive the pressure of a hard training camp: The mental pressure The physical pressure And the spiritual pressure …you’re more likely to dominate at the tournament. The scary...
The Dream Team Dominates the 2025 Brasileiro Team Trophy: Atos's women's team dominates the podium at the 2025 Brasileiro This past weekend at the 2025 CBJJ Brasileiro, Team Atos made history – and once again, it was the women of the Dream Team who stole the show. When the Dream Team first formed, they were a group of talented juveniles chasing big dreams. Today, they’re champions at the highest level of the sport. Now, with several of them climbing through the adult ranks, the Dream Team is...
